Terumo Aortic are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Area Business Manager to join our UK Sales team. This is a field-based role responsible for managing and growing a designated territory across Scotland and the North East England for our Vascular, Endovascular and Cardiothoracic portfolio. You will play a key role in driving sales performance, supporting clinicians in complex procedures, and building strong relationships across hospital stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage and develop your assigned territory to achieve annual sales targets and support ongoing customer demand 

  • Promote and sell a portfolio of vascular, endovascular and cardiothoracic products, including EVAR, TEVAR and hybrid prosthesis solutions 

  • Provide expert product guidance and clinical support to healthcare professionals, including in operating theatres 

  • Build relationships with Consultant Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Registrars, nursing teams and hospital procurement stakeholders 

  • Plan and manage territory activity, including customer visits, journey planning and account development 

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities alongside incremental sales growth 

  • Organise and deliver training, study days and symposia for clinical teams 

  • Collaborate with the wider UK Sales team to support new product launches and initiatives 

  • Participate in exhibitions, sales meetings, and customer engagement activities 

  • Provide coaching and support to territory sales representatives where needed 

Skills & Experience 

  • Degree qualified, ideally in a medical or scientific discipline 

  • Clinical background preferred (e.g. radiography, vascular, theatre or radiology nursing) 

  • Experience in vascular devices, stents, grafts or catheter-based technologies is advantageous 

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering sales growth 

  • Confident delivering training and clinical education 

  • Professional presence with the ability to build credibility with senior clinicians 

  • Intermediate IT skills 

  • Full driving licence (clean preferred)

  • Willingness to travel extensively across your territory, with occasional national and international travel 

  • Commitment to working within quality management systems and regulatory requirements 

  • Strong awareness of health, safety and quality standards in a clinical environment
