Terumo Aortic have an exciting new position for an experienced Change Manager. Deploy and develop your change management experience in a challenging project based setting, making a key contribution to the next part of our growth journey, here at Terumo Aortic.  

Working closely with our Change & Engagement Director and our project leaders, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to help influence the success of our Change Management strategy and delivery outcomes, whilst working within a company that truly changes the lives of our customers.

The main responsibilities of the role;

  • Focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures
  • Lead the change workstream(s) for multiple projects
  • Assess change requirements and deploy key change tools and techniques to manage resistance to and adoption of change.
  • Create and implement change management strategies and plans – maximising employee adoption of change and minimizing resistance to change.
  • Support business leaders and stakeholders in their role as change sponsors and agents throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicate programme ideas / visions with senior managers, gaining their buy in and support for implementation
  • Monitor and provide feedback on transformation & change metrics
  • Support project teams in delivering a mindful approach to change & transformation activities
  • Ensure that key decisions throughout the program are documented and aligned with key stakeholders
  • Proactively highlights risks, dependencies and resistance across programmes / projects, - providing clear metrics and commentary on programme / project status
  • Support the Change & Engagement Director in the delivery of business objectives
  • Support ongoing development & delivery of change management capability in Terumo Aortic – contributing to our change strategy, developing and delivering change management training

The successful candidate will possess;

Essential experience / skills we’d love you to have

  • Experience in managing the change workstream within business change and transformation programmes / projects
  • Experience, knowledge and application of change management models, principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience of handling multiple projects / initiatives simultaneously and executing activities to completion
  • Experience of, and the ability to operate in ambiguous scenarios
  • Experience of navigating stakeholders at all levels in the business
  • Flexible, adaptable and resilient self starter - takes the initiative
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Applied facilitation skills – meetings & workshops
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, influencing others to move towards a common vision or goal
  • Good analysis skills – looking for patterns in information from surveys & feedback
  • Problem solving skills

  • People management skills – influencing & coaching (direct / indirect)
  • Multi site / multi geography  business experience
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Prince2 or equivalent qualification
  • Change management certification  
  • Degree, or equivalent business experience

Some occasional international travel will be required – typically to our US site in Miami
