Terumo Aortic are currently looking to recruit an Engineering Leader - Grafts, for our manufacturing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to further develop their career. 

The main duties of the role are; 

• Ensure stable, effective, capable and well-documented manufacturing processes.
• Continual improvement of product quality, sustained reductions in product cost.
• Quick and effective responses to market requirements, and compliance with all applicable regulatory laws and requirements. 
• Maintain awareness of the relevance and importance of activities performed and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.
• Managing teams monthly goals & objectives. 
• Set top priorities per month with team members.
• Manage team cleanroom presence. 
• Host fortnightly 1:1 and weekly team meetings. 
• Manage team loadboard rail. 
• Host monthly loadboard rail meetings with Key stakeholders. 
• Manage teams B.A.U KPI's. 
• Process monitoring and control management for relevant processes.  
• SME for relevant processes. 

The successful candidate will possess; 

• Degree qualified to a minimum of Bachelor degree. 
• Black belt six sigma is desirable but a green belt six sigma would be satisfactory. 
• Solid manufacturing engineering experience is essential.
• Possess supervisory experience and strong interpersonal, planning & organisational skills. 
• Experience of lean manufacturing principles, i.e. SMED, VM, 5s would be advantageous. 
• Strong computer skills and industry knowledge.
• Strong project management experience.
