Terumo Aortic is seeking an Events Planner to join our busy EMEA Marketing, Training and Events team on a fixed term basis of 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for development and delivery of virtual and in-person internal and external events including EMEA congresses, customer engagement, regional summits and patients week.

Key Duties;

• Organise virtual and in-person internal and external events from concept to execution including all logistics
• Develop a digital planning strategy for EMEA congresses
• Manage Associate attendance at EMEA congresses
• Work with product marketing, medical affairs on programme of activities at congresses
• Work with internal design team on graphic requirements for events ensuring brand compliance
• Develop and maintain partnership with congress organisers and booth vendors
• Ownership of all marketing materials + equipment for events
• Identify and implement suitable digital platforms to manage logistics
• Establish customer engagement programme in Glasgow and Sunrise with post-event evaluation
• Maintain EMEA events database, log/track attendees, log customer enquiries/feedback and process
• Develop all print + digital communications relevant to each event/audience before, during and after events
• Provision of key metrics post-event
• Financial and budgetary management with tracker of costs for each event
• International travel (as required)

Qualifications & Experience;

• Graduate in marketing or business-related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good administrative and IT skills
• Experience in similar role/background
• Must be able to work as part of a team but also display initiative
• Needs to be organised, well-presented and articulate
• Driving licence essential
