Terumo Aortic requires an experienced Engineering Shift Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance and associated tasks on equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their career and work with a leading team.
Key responsibilities and duties will include;
- Carrying out routine checks and maintenance on equipment and associated services
- Carry out repairs and modifications to equipment and services
- Support and deliver projects to upgrade and install new equipment and services
- Experienced in fault finding techniques and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to analyse data, report findings and recommend improvement actions
- Collect and maintain documentation to meet safety, quality and project compliance and legislation
- Actively participate in performance management objectives and demonstrate Terumo Aortic values
- Assume other responsibilities from time to time in order to support objectives and personal career development
- Provide operational shift cover
- Control of documentation for Quality management and maintenance management systems
Skills and experience:
- Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Proven post qualification experience of working within a multi-disciplined maintenance environment is essential
- Experience of maintaining a wide range of process equipment
- Competent in the use of CMMS systems
- Knowledge of statistical tools and MS Office applications. Experience of working in a rotating shift team
- Previous experience in a medical device environment would be desirable
