Terumo Aortic are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Compliance Specialist to join out team. This is an exciting new role working within our Compliance team as we continue to grow during an exciting phase of investment and growth. The Key Responsibilities of the role are:

Grants Committee Support:

  • Review grant applications and interact with applicants.
  • Maintain the grant log and coordinate communications.
  • Ensure compliance with MedTech Europe Transparency Reporting.

HCP Contract Administration:

  • Draft and execute agreements, and maintain the HCP engagement database.
  • Track activities and payments for HCPs.
  • Facilitate contract signatures and manage template contracts.

Healthcare Compliance Program Implementation:

  • Support the testing and monitoring plan to demonstrate program effectiveness.
  • Participate in execution and reporting as needed.

Third Party Management:

  • Assist in reviewing Third Party Due Diligences and approvals.

General Compliance Activities:

  • Assist with various healthcare compliance-related tasks as required.

Management of HCP Related Processes:

  • Oversee HCP Consultancy Agreements & Engagements.
  • Manage contract templates and facilitate signatures.
  • Maintain HCP agreements database.

Medical Educational Grants and Donations:

  • Review and manage grant applications and contracts.
  • Maintain the grants database and ensure transparency reporting.

Testing & Monitoring:

  • Conduct monitoring reports, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain monitoring logs and provide necessary training.

Policy Implementation:

  • Roll out healthcare compliance policies and SOPs.
  • Conduct training and measure its effectiveness.

Third Party Risk Management:

  • Assist in healthcare compliance reviews and approvals.

Internal Audits and Compliance Committees:

  • Support internal audit preparations.
  • Participate in healthcare compliance committees and cross-functional groups.

Key Relationships:

  • Collaborate with Management, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, R&D, Clinical, and other team members across the United States and Europe.

 

They successful candidate will possess;

  • Adaptability and dependability in a dynamic environment.
  • University degree required; Law Degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years in Compliance or Auditing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Advanced degree or compliance certification is a plus.
  • Ethical and practical approach to compliance risks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Business-oriented with excellent customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and quality control.
