The main responsibilities of the role are;
- Responsible for controlling, planning and managing all product quality inspection functions within the manufacturing areas to meet the financial plan.
- Responsible to ensure all performance management reviews are conducted in full and in a timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring that any performance issues are addressed and that appropriate actions are taken when required. This includes displaying the core values and embracing change.
- Responsible for maintaining awareness of the relevance and importance of activities performed and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.
- Responsible for identifying and highlighting key areas for process improvement review, support implementation of new technologies, support CI and the short interval management (SIM).
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment and achieving safety goals.
- Responsible for verifying, via review of batch manufacturing records, that product meets required acceptance criteria.
- Responsible for verifying, via GMP checks, that manufacturing records are correct and accurate; documented accepted and rejected criteria is correct and complies with approved procedures; inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated.
The successful candidate will possess;
- Experience in Quality Control, Product Quality Assurance & Quality Management Systems
- Clean room experience preferable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Competence in the use of IT technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
