Key Duties;
- First Line IT Technical Support: Provide general support to users on the Windows/Linux network.
- User Communication: Actively engage with users through our helpdesk system to keep them informed about their support requests.
- Ticket Management: Prioritize and escalate support tickets as necessary.
- Technical Assistance: Build, deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and fix computers for end users.
- Hardware & Software Maintenance: Maintain end user hardware/software, including mobile/desktop phones, printers, barcode scanners, laptops, and desktop PCs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of end user hardware/software in asset management systems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation and SOPs for first-line IT technical support processes.
- Network Administration: Perform general network administration tasks.
- External Liaison: Coordinate with external technical support when problems cannot be resolved in-house.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist with various ad-hoc projects as required.
- IT Road Map Tasks: Support other IT technical tasks as outlined in the IT Road Map.
- User Support: Provide first-line IT technical support to associates for hardware, software, and operational issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Literate & Numerate: Must have strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Reliability: Must be reliable and keen to learn.
- Interest in IT: Must have a personal interest in IT.
- Team Player: Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Communication Skills: Must have good communication skills.
