The main responsibilities of the role include;

• Be a champion of the MES Solution and assist in Change Management activities.
• Providing MES advice and consultancy support to all areas of the business
• Maintenance of master data for Manufacturing Systems.
• Testing, maintaining and modifying existing manufacturing systems.
• Lead the transfer of new products into manufacturing and ensure that all the appropriate requirements for manufacturing systems are understood and available.
• Analysing data and presenting findings in reports
• Working collaboratively with engineers, operations, and other internal staff.
• Propose & implement corrective actions proposed to address quality issues within the manufacturing systems.
• Perform any other duties/tasks/projects as require by management
• Assume other responsibilities from time-to-time in order to support plant’s strategic plan and personal career plans.

The successful candidate will have;

• HNC in related subject  or 5+ years relevant previous experience in a high quality manufacturing environment
• Proficient use of ERP or MES applications such as Opcenter, QAD, SAP.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new skills (technical & quality).
• Demonstrate knowledge of product, process & people movement.
• Process Engineering, Business and IT- Analytical skills required.
• Strong teamworking skills
• A high level of attention to detail.
