Terumo Aortic currently recruiting for a Microbiology Technician. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to provide essential support to our Quality Control (QC) department, primarily focused on microbiology. This role offers the chance to work in a high-quality, regulated environment within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to perform all required microbiological tests in accordance with relevant procedures:

• Sterility control
• Water bioburden and endotoxin testing
• Product bioburden and endotoxin testing
• Testing of raw materials
• EM of cleanrooms
• Preparation of media
• Receipt of goods in
• Routine laboratory tasks
• Equipment verification
• Perform any validation work
• Raise QCO/ECO/CRB Changes
• Report writing
• Perform Microbiology awareness sessions
•  Management review data preparation
•  Any other duties as described by the Quality Shift Lead

What We're Looking For

• Relevant science degree or equivalent experience in a regulated     industry
• Working knowledge of excel and word for windows
• Attention to detail required
• Clean room experience would be advantageous
