Terumo Aortic are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our facilities team during a period of growth and investment on site. This is a great role for someone to further develop their career whilst adding real value.
The main responsibilities of the role are;
- Working with the Project Management team, identify and deliver on key assigned tasks and work packages in support of the overall Site Development programme
- Project leadership of small to medium scale projects relating to Facilities infrastructure and systems up-grades
- Co-ordinating and managing communications and project documentation
- Preparation of project progress reports
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and 3rd party providers
- Work closely with PMs and various departments to develop solutions from customer requirements/ specifications and legal requirements
- Evaluating, organising and prioritising work within the overall project schedule
- Overseeing all facilities and equipment drawings for mechanical, electrical, fire systems and equipment layouts
- Establish system for management of overall site drawings to maintain accuracy
- Support site projects with development of design drawings
- Identification of problems and development of cost effective solutions
- Ensure that all required documentation for structural, infrastructure or equipment installation/ modifications/ alterations is in accordance with the required standards
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
The successful candidate will possess;
- Degree in Engineering related discipline or relevant industry experience
- Experience working in a Facilities Eng related environment
- Strong working knowledge and experience of CAD
- Good working knowledge of Legislation, Regulations, British Standards, Codes of Practice, HSE Guidelines
- Experience of formal Project Management systems
- Operational knowledge of CDM 2015 Requirements
