We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Research and Development Technician. The successful candidate will aid the development of Class III medical devices in accordance with relevant procedures through provision of test support .
This role requires close collaboration with our product development teams throughout the product lifecycle and involves participation in project meetings and various cross-functional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Under guidance of Product Development Engineers / Scientists, carry out mechanical and chemical tests on products during product development.
- Creation of test reports to feedback to project teams.
- Liaise with Technical Support Team throughout product development lifecycle.
- Participate in project team meetings.
- Provide training and support during transfer to verification stage of the product development lifecycle.
- Work alongside other members of the Technical Support Team to ensure cleanliness of product development laboratory areas and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Provide guidance to new / junior team members.
- Coordinate small scale projects under guidance of Product Development Engineers.
- Participate in Change Control Process.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Technical degree or qualification desirable.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks or equivalent desirable.
- Knowledge of basic statistical tools and data plotting (excel based)
- Working knowledge of MasterControl system desirable.
