Terumo Aortic are a global leader in the design and manufacture of medical devices for aortic repair and are currently hiring for a Global Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning (SIOP) Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and embedding of the SIOP function supporting to commercial supply of the TA portfolio. The key duties of the role include;
- Manage the Global SIOP process; ensuring the monthly cadence of attendance, data provision, data assessment and escalations are respected by all functions (and respective KPI owners)
- Ensure all functions supporting to SIOP deliver to the highest standards of their respective function, as well as provide effective support on any cross-functional teamworking
- Oversee the monthly SIOP cycle from Demand, Supply, Inventory & Global SIOP. Including:
- Timely provision of relevant inputs / outputs of each meeting
- Risk & Opportunities tracking
- Sales demand forecast & production supply plan generation
- Proactive inventory management processes
- Action tracking
- Establish a strong customer focus/service both within your team and across the SIOP process
- Lead and develop your team; setting clear objectives and managed with effective performance management activities
- Help to define and evolve the ISC team strategy
- Provide support to other functions across the company as instructed by ISC Lead (incl. any transformation projects aligned through the Horizon program)
The successful candidate will possess;
- Significant experience of having established and managed S&OP processes within a regulated industry
- Broad experience of operating S&OP processes within a manufacturing environment (pref. pharma or medical device)
- Good business acumen - demonstrable experience of maintaining commercial focus in a changeable environment
- Able to work under high pressure with the ability to make objective decisions based on informed data
- Experience in partnering across functions and with executive team members
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate, influence and manage well at all levels of the business, internally and externally
- Strong problem solving and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
